Share Your Credentials with Digital Badges!

To help you communicate your AMHSA HSE education achievements, we’ve partnered with Credly to provide you with digital versions of your credentials as you earn them. Use our verified digital badges and micro-credentials to showcase your achievements and validate your skills with an industry-recognized credential.

Each digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them. Digital badges are easy to manage, verify and share online. They provide evidence of what you have done and why it’s important. Badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media such as LinkedIn and Facebook.

Credly FAQs

What is Credly?

Credly is an online service for issuing and managing digital credentials across a number of industry sectors. Credly works with organizations like AMHSA to provide digital credentials to individuals around the world.

What are the advantages of a digital badge?

Using a badge to represent your credentials allows you to share your abilities online in a simple, trusted and easily verified way. Badges provide employers with proof of course completion and confirm your newly acquired skills and capabilities.

How does my certification get displayed?

Working with AMHSA, Credly translates the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge that is issued and managed through a secure digital badging platform based on IMS Global Standards. This enables you to manage, share and verify your qualifications digitally.

What’s to keep someone else from copying my badge and using it?

Each digital badge is uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes badges more reliable and secure than paper-based certificates. It also prevents anyone from claiming your credential, or assuming your professional identity.

How will I know when I’ve earned a badge?

Once you complete a qualified course, the AMHSA Learning Management System automatically generates a credential and alerts Credly, who in turn notifies you via email with instructions on how to claim your badge and set up your account.

How can I share my badge through Credly?

There are a number of ways you can showcase your certification. You can share your badge directly from Credly to your social media profiles on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. You can also include your badge in emails, embed it in a website and incorporate it into your email signature.

Is there a fee to use Credly?

No. Credly is a service provided courtesy of AMHSA free of charge to employees of member organizations.

What if I don’t want my badge to be public?

You have complete control over information that is made public. Configuring your privacy settings in Credly is quick and easy.

What labour market information can I access through Credly?

Credly tracks labour market insights that are pulled from live job requisitions. Based on your skill profile you can learn who is actively recruiting, what job titles you might be qualified for, salary ranges and more. You can search job listings and even apply for positions through Credly. Labour market insights can be accessed from your badge details page by clicking on ‘Related Jobs’, or by clicking on the skill tags assigned to your badge.

Can I export badges issued through Credly to other platforms?

Yes, you can download your badge from the ‘Share Badge’ page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites.

If I have a question about Credly, who can I contact for support?

You can get in touch with an AMHSA representative directly if you have any questions:
